Experience one of San Francisco’s most iconic adventures on a guided bike tour from Fisherman’s Wharf to Sausalito.

Meet your expert guide, get fitted on a comfortable regular bike or electric bike equipped with storage and a map, and set off along the city’s scenic waterfront. With easy, mostly flat paths and plenty of stops for photos, this ride offers beautiful views and fascinating stories that bring the city’s history to life.

Follow your guide past Fort Mason, the sailboat-filled Marina, and the lush Presidio as you make your way toward the Golden Gate Bridge. Ride across the bridge on a wide bike path and enjoy sweeping views of the bay, Alcatraz, and the city skyline. Continue through Vista Point and Old Fort Baker, a historic army post with some of the best vantage points in the area.

The tour finishes in the picturesque town of Sausalito, where you can browse shops, art galleries, and waterfront restaurants at your leisure. You’re welcome to keep your bike until closing hours to explore more on your own.

Riders may return to San Francisco by biking back or by ferry (tickets sold separately).

The Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito Tour departs promptly **on time** at our **2661 Taylor Street TOUR CENTER** location in Fisherman's Wharf.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure time. This extra 30-minute time is to complete paper work, fit helmets, get a bike overview, use restrooms, etc. The tour leave sharp at tour time and late arrivals cannot be accommodated.

Please note, tour guide gratuity is not included in tour pricing and should be given directly to tour guides.

Arrival instructions and information

• Please bring a valid ID and a Credit Card with you to pick up your bikes.

• We take a credit card pre-authorization on all rentals and tours, starting at $100 per bike. The authorized amount is held until we have the safe return of all rental equipment. The various amounts required for bike types is as follows: $150 City Bike; $200 Performance; $300 Tandem; $600 Electric bike; $700 Road Aluminum; $1,200 Road Carbon.
