About Your Team Building Cruise:

Team sailing is an excellent option for a team building day. Participants will step aboard the spacious sailing catamaran Aristocat and be hands-on in a fun, relaxed and interactive environment. Participants will have their communication and leadership skills put to the test and walk away at day’s end with new skills gained (and some impressive nautical terms!).

Groups are divided into teams of 3-4 and given rotating shifts navigating Aristocat safely around the Moreton Bay islands. The crew will be working together to study charts, identify navigation marks, avoid shallow waters, steer the yacht and set the sails in variable breezes. All team members are encouraged to participate and switch positions.

The full day charter allow us time to anchor for lunch, a swim and beach cricket/volleyball in a sheltered bay (Peel Island, Bird Island or North Stradbroke).

Aristocat is a large and stable yacht and we operate in protected waters. Therefore, this event is safe and suitable for people of all ages and abilities. For groups larger than 30, we can utilise a second sailing catamaran.

Note: Our Team Building charters are available from January to October. For November and December, please refer to our Christmas Party Cruise.

A Team Building Sailing Charter includes:** a unique team building experience, certified skipper, deckhand, fuel, marine park fees, exclusive use of the luxury yacht Aristocat, tea/coffee/chilled water.

Guests can choose whether to BYO food/drinks or select our catered menu.

Fresh buffet lunch:** fresh king prawns, roast chicken, leg ham, freshly prepared salads and rolls. $30/person.

Morning/afternoon tea:** Antipasto boards and seasonal fruit platters. $15/person.

Tea, coffee and water are complimentary. Alcohol/additional drinks are BYO (no corkage fees!).

Rates

Sunday to Friday:

4 hour:** $1,950 for the first 10 guests, with each additional guest $55ea.

5 hour:** $2,100 for the first 10 guests, with each additional guest $60ea.

7 hour:** $2,500 for the first 10 guests, with each additional guest $70ea.

Saturday:

4 hour:** $2,100 for the first 10 guests, with each additional guest $55ea.

5 hour:** $2,250 for the first 10 guests, with each additional guest $60ea.

7 hour:** $2,650 for the first 10 guests, with each additional guest $70ea.

Closest drop off is Harbourview Ct with parking available in the Cleveland Train Station car park or on Masthead Dv. Please avoid parking in the Hog's Breath Restaurant precinct as vehicles have been towed in the past.

Your welcome to utilise the galley and it's contents, it's fully stocked with cutlery, crockery, champagne/wine glasses, serving dishes/plates, cooking utensils etc, 3 burner gas stove, oven, BBQ, 2 medium size fridges and 2 x 50L eskies (with 3 bags of ice).

Your also welcome to bring 1-2 additional medium sized eskies as well and where possible please bring drinks in cans rather than glass bottles.

Alcohol is permitted in moderation. Given we are operating a sailing yacht with sails, ropes and the yacht moving in different directions, it's very important all guests are well aware of what's going on around them. Please convey this to the group.

We are committed to providing a COVID-19 safe service and yacht. We require the following compliance from all passengers:

• if you are displaying any COVID-19/fever/flu like symptoms please remain at home.
• check In using the 'Check in Qld' app
• If your group is >20 PAX, proof of vaccination is required when boarding (or evidence of a medical contraindication) if you are >16 years old. Either a digital COVID certificate (linked to your Check in QLD app) or a printed version.
• follow Qld Govt quarantine requirements e.g. for Close contacts
• wear your face mask if sitting indoors

Some items to bring which may slip your mind:

• swimmers/towel/sunnies/hat/sunburn cream
• flat white sole shoes (or barefoot) as black sole shoes mark the white decks. No high heels please!
• music playlist on a smart phone - our stereo has bluetooth.
• wind jacket - it can be cool with the breeze over the water!
