Austin BBQ pitmasters have taken their job for reals in recent years, not only smoking the best meats around but also finding a thousand wicked ways to eat the delicious meat of the gods. Your Twisted guide will show-off all our favorites: tacos, kolaches, sandwiches, or just served straight up! This Texas BBQ tour experience will showcase our city’s best BBQ and our favorite ways to eat it with the foods we love. Tour includes a behind-the-scenes smokehouse tour with a local pitmaster.

Let’s get the heck out of Dodge! Travel 30 minutes outside of Austin to the charming town of Lockhart, Texas, self-proclaimed “BBQ Capital of the World”. Your Twisted guide will help you beat the crowds, and the lines, that so often go along with eating Texas BBQ. Visit 3 different Lockhart joints, most of which have been smoking Texas BBQ for generations. We then head back into Austin for one last stop. Go behind-the-scenes at an authentic Texas BBQ joint with an exclusive private tour by the pitmaster himself! Learn how BBQ is prepared and smoked in the Lone Star State…if you can handle the heat! We end the tour with a choice between more meat or a sweet treat, either of which your stomach will welcome as the perfect end to the perfect foodie adventure.

Remember: Your booking is considered pending for 2 business days.** During this time, we will be confirming availability with our team and suppliers. If we are unable to accommodate your tour, you will be notified as soon as possible with a full refund. If you don't hear from us, you are good to go!

**What Now? Quick To-Do Checklist:**

• **Each** member of your party needs to sign the pre-tour questionnaire and waiver prior to your tour start. You will receive a separate email that you can forward to everyone for easy signing. **Food allergy/dietary requests must be received no later than 48 hours prior to the tour start in this questionnaire**.
• Wishing you'd snagged our travel insurance for additional cancellation flexibility? You've got 24 hours from the time of booking to reach out and we can add it to your booking.
• Change in guest count? We can make adjustments free of charge up to 48 hours prior to your tour start. After that time, your guest count is finalized and no changes can be made.

**What to do if you need to change or cancel your tour:**

We understand that life is unpredictable, especially when it comes to travel. In order to best accommodate our guests, we have adjusted our cancellation policies to be as flexible as possible by offering travel insurance at time of booking. We also recommend looking into a travel insurance policy to handle reimbursements if you have to cancel outside of our cancellation range. If you decide either of these insurance options are not for you, you will be responsible for all cancellation penalties as outlined in our booking policies.

**What if someone gets sick before the tour?**

While there has always been a chance of getting sick while traveling, now the worry is more prominent than ever. Unfortunately we are not able to offer any additional refunds outside of our stated cancellation policy above. We pay many of our vendors in advance, and our employees also depend on the work we offer them to pay their bills. **Travel insurance that covers coronavirus-cancellations is something we recommend all guests look into as a way to be reimbursed for unexpected cancellations due to illness.

You will receive a reminder email from us 24 hours prior to your tour start with everything you'll need to know for an awesome tour!
