Book your private charter trip and spend a day out on the water fishing!
About
Spend a day out on the water fishing for king and silver salmon, halibut, rock fish, and ling cod. We'll leave the docks at 7:30am and return around 4pm. Take your fish home or drop it off to be professionally processed!
Before you go
When to meet
We head out of the harbor at 7:00am. Please arrive by 6:55am so you can get settled in.

What to Bring
- Don’t forget a copy of your fishing license and King Salmon stamp! (Printed or on the Fish and Game app)
- Licenses can be purchased online and printed or bought locally at Big Rays
- The weather in Kodiak changes quickly so be prepared for inclement weather and be sure to bring rain gear/waterproof clothes and layers. It’s also always a bit cooler on the water. Bring sunscreen and we recommend a good pair of sunglasses as the sun here is strong!
- We’ll provide water, soda and coffee. We encourage you to bring a lunch and feel free to bring along any other personal food or drinks.
Fish Processing
From the minute you land your fish, your catch is bled and kept in slush ice until we return to the dock. The majority of our clients are excited to have their fish filleted, vacuum packed, flash frozen, and packed as a checked bag for their flight home. You can opt to take your daily catch home (we do not fillet fish) or we'll drop it off for professional processing with Wild Source for an additional cost. Note that processing can take up to 48 hours, so make sure to allow enough time before your flight! They also offer options to ship your catch via UPS to your door.
