Summary
The Taliesin estate is located in **Spring Green, Wisconsin**.
All tours start at the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center at:
5607 County Road C, Spring Green, WI 53588
Our **Estate Tour** begins at the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center. From there, guests are shuttled to the Taliesin property for a **4-hour walking tour** that moves through a large portion of the property. Some of the highlights include:
• Exploring Hillside, the school that Wright designed for his aunts. Here, you’ll see the Assembly Hall, Fellowship Dining Room, Drafting Studio, and Hillside Theater.
• Taking a country walk past the Romeo and Juliet Windmill Tower, the oldest design on the property.
• Getting a close-up look at Tan-y-Deri, the home Wright built for his sister Jane Porter.
• Checking out Midway Barn en route to the Taliesin home itself.
• An In-Depth House Tour of Taliesin's exterior and interior.
Halfway through the tour, **you’ll be served light refreshments** while relaxing on Frank Lloyd Wright’s terrace (weather permitting) before enjoying an exterior tour of his home. Finally, you’ll spend a delightful one hour inside Taliesin itself.
Comfortable walking shoes are a must for this tour, since* ***it includes a 1½ mile hike, including some considerable hills, from one end of the estate to the other***, *with few places to sit down. There are two restroom breaks during this 4-hour tour.

About Taliesin Preservation
VISION
Taliesin is acknowledged as the embodiment of American architect Frank Lloyd Wright's commitment to the creation of exceptional environments that harmonize architecture, art, culture, and the land.
MISSION
As stewards, Taliesin Preservation's mission is to preserve the cultural, built, and natural environments that comprise the Taliesin property and to conduct public educational and cultural programming that provides a greater understanding of Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture and ideas.

Before you go
We're Looking Forward to Your Visit!
Please arrive at the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center at least 20 minutes before your tour to pick up your tickets. **The shuttle to Taliesin leaves promptly at the posted tour start time.** Tours gather approximately 10 minutes before the tour start time. If you are running late, we will do our best to accommodate you but cannot guarantee you will be able to take a tour on the same day.
Preparing for Your Tour
- Tours go out in all weather and portions of the tour are outside, so please plan and dress accordingly.
- Tours are brought to the estate via shuttle bus. Therefore, it is not possible to leave a tour early, unless in the case of an emergency.
- Mosquitos and other insects can be abundant in warmer months. We recommend bringing insect repellent or other protection.
- Bottled water is the only beverage allowed on tour. Food is not allowed.
- Additional information can be found here.
Accessibility Information
- **Terrain:** Please note that tours include walking on uneven terrain, gravel paths, and stairways without handrails.
- **Walking/Standing:** Guests will spend the majority of the tour walking and standing. Some spaces have limited seating available and more seating is available upon request.
- **Mobility aids:** Unfortunately, our shuttles are not wheelchair accessible. Walkers are permitted as long as they can fold and be stored in front of the guest while seated on the shuttle to ensure that the aisle remains clear.
If you have any concerns or need to adjust your booking, please contact us at (608) 588-7900 to discuss accessible tour options.
