Step back in time with a behind-the-scenes look at how Kings County Distillery became NYC’s oldest whiskey distillery since Prohibition.Your tour begins in the historic Paymaster Building at the Brooklyn Navy Yard where we’ll guide you through the full whiskey-making journey, from milling and mashing to fermenting and distilling. Taste our signature moonshine on the distillery floor, then it’s off to our barrel room, where you’ll take in the sights, smells, and secrets of aging whiskey. Tours conclude with a guided tasting featuring four of our signature whiskeys. Duration is approximately 45 minutes.

• You must be age 21+ with proper ID to enjoy whiskey. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
• At this time children are not permitted on the tour, unless they are young enough to be worn by a parent/guardian in an infant carrier.

-Guests will meet at our bar at The Gatehouses at 299 Sands St, located right on the intersection of Sands St, and Navy St.

• The Gatehouses, and Paymaster building at Kings County Distillery are historic structures that are not wheelchair accessible.
• **Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your tour starts. Tours will start no later than 5 minutes after the listed time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late your spot will be forfeited to someone on our waitlist with no option to reschedule or be refunded.**
• This tour requires going up and down stairs as well as long periods of standing.

Thank you for booking your tour with Kings County Distillery. Please meet us at our tasting room located at 299 Sands Street, on the corner of Sands and Navy. Please do not go directly to the distillery.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the starting time. Traffic is often worse than people expect on the weekend, especially if you are traveling from out of town or far away, so please buffer extra time. Tours will start no later than 5 minutes after the listed time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late your spot will be forfeited to someone on our waitlist with no option to reschedule or be refunded.

This tour requires going up and down stairs and long periods of standing.

Should you need to reschedule, please do so by replying to this email, as the tours office can be difficult to reach by phone, especially on the weekends when all available staff are leading tours.
