This three hour rental gives you plenty of time to snap some great pictures and feel the majesty of this beautiful, glacier-fed lake. Explore at your own pace as you take in the surrounding mountains. Our kayaks can seat 1 to 2 adults.

Available for ages 5 and up. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the kayak. Our kayaks can accommodate up to 2 adults and a child between 5 and 7 years old weighing less than 50 pounds. Combined weight of participants and gear for each kayak can not be more than 400 pounds.

WHAT TO BRING

• Official Photo ID
• Rain jacket and rain pants
• Wear clothes that dry easily
• Wool/synthetic socks
• Waterproof shoes/boots or shoes that you do not mind getting wet
• Warm layers (weather can change quickly here)
• Full Water Bottle
• Phone/camera
• Gratuity is not included, but if your host goes above and beyond during your orientation a token of your appreciation would certainly be welcomed.

DAY OF DETAILS

We are located in Moose Pass, less than 100 miles from Anchorage and 30 miles north of Seward. Please allow extra travel time for road construction and make sure to arrive early enough to head into Trail Lake Lodge or across the street to Estes Brother's Store to use the restroom and to get geared up before your designated kayak rental time. If you have not arrived by the designated time, your reservation may be cancelled, and you will not be eligible for a refund. Make sure to leave yourself plenty of travel time so that you don't "miss the boat."
