Ages 12 years and older with an adult guardian only. The minimum group size is 8 people.

There is a minimum group size of 8 to book this trip for safety reasons.

Our longest trip, truly a wilderness river adventure. This 63-mile trip has it all, great rapids, scenery, cool campsites, impressive mountain views, good fishing, great swim spots and ends with running the white water section "James River Gorge - Balcony Falls."

Customers can resupply at the town of Buchanan on day 3, and Glasgow on day 4 of the trip. Many Boy Scout groups do this trip as a 50-miler qualifying trip, combined with a river clean-up service project. Due to the remoteness and difficulty of the rapids, we carefully screen all groups before running this trip.

Prior Canoe/Kayak Class I-II+ experience required.

Trip must not end on a Saturday or a Sunday.
