Tahoe Sports now offers Boat Rental Tours on Lake Tahoe! These tours include a Driver, Fuel and a Towable (Tube, Wakeboard, or Water Skis) to enjoy on Lake Tahoe. We will escort you on beautiful Lake Tahoe to the destinations you prefer such as Emerald Bay, Sand Harbor, Rooster Rock and more!

Full length Bimini Shade can be rolled up completely, or have either the front or the back protected against the sun.

All rental boats include a Bimini Shade that covers the back half of the boat.

Reservations can be made with commitments of 4 Hours of Rental time or more. Shorter durations are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

We recommend picking up ice, food, and beverages before arriving at the marina, as our on-site amenities are very limited.

YOUR SCHEDULED RESERVATION TIME IS YOUR DEPARTURE (START) TIME.

You need to check into the Rental Office at least 30-60 minutes before your Start Time** to finalize Liability Paperwork and to go over the Rental Vessel with our Staff.

PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR LIABILITY FORMS IN ADVANCE

You will receive another Email from Tahoe Keys Boat Rentals with a Link to fill out Liability Waivers for your Rental/Activity. A Waiver must be completed for everyone who will be participating in the activity. Please forward this link to all members of your party. This will make things easier at check-in.

California Boater Card Promotion

If the Primary Renter obtains a California Boater Card or if they have a Boating License or a Captain's License, you will receive a Free Single Tube Rental!

Rental Terms:

All boat and jet ski rentals require a valid Driver's License and Credit Card at check in.** Customers need to check in at least 30-60 minutes prior to their reservation time in order to complete paperwork and inspect the rental vessel. The Start Time booked is the time the rental and payment starts. All Boat and Jet Ski Rentals are responsible for paying for Fuel on the day of rental.

Boat Rental Excursions operate as a Bareboat Charter to comply with U.S. Coast Guard passenger rules. With Bareboat Charters, the renter still assumes full responsibility for the vessel, themselves and all passengers on the vessel. Boat Rental Excursions give the renter the ability to Hire a Driver from our Qualified Drivers List to make sure you have someone onboard who knows the area and is comfortable in all boating situations.

The Boat Rental Excursion Fee is paid at the time of rental which does include all fees at checkout except the Driver Fee and Fuel.

An additional $100/hour is paid directly to the Driver on the Day of Rental to pay for their services and fuel.

If you are looking to rent a boat and operate it yourself or have a member of your own party operate the vessel, we suggest selecting a regular Boat Rental. With all regular Boat Rentals, our staff will help you in and out of our respective marinas to make the experience as easy as possible.

Water Sports Package** includes a Tube, Wakeboard, Water Skis and all required safety equipment for these activities. If you want to Wake Surf you need to pick the Wake Surf Boat Rental Excursion option.

Scenic Tour Package** includes Light Snacks and a selection of Water and Soda to enjoy while you visit iconic areas on Lake Tahoe like Emerald Bay, D.L. Bliss, Rubicon Bay and More! This package would also be able to take you to the excellent restaurants on Lake Tahoe like Sunnyside and Chamber’s Landing.
