A Must-Do When Visiting Ketchikan!

About

Four or six hours actual time on the water fishing for salmon. Your trip will be operated by the boat owner. I have been chartering in Alaska for over 30 years.

You will never have finer or fresher Salmon than those we will catch. Freshly caught fish are immediately iced and held until we finish your trip.

We can arrange to have your fish filleted and flash frozen, or filleted and smoked- or a little of both.

Clover Pass resort will ship your frozen fish via Federal Express to your home. They accept all major credit cards; cost varies based on total catch.

Arriving By Cruise Ship

• When your ship is about an hour from docking, you will call Sour Dough taxi service at 907.225.5544 to arrange a cab ride to Clover Pass resort. The cab can take up to six passengers and the cost is $50 each way.

Fishing Licenses:

• Alaska fishing license must be purchased online prior to your trip. The current license pricing can be found on the ADFG site

Important

• Ages 16 and older are required to have a current Alaska fishing license in order to fish. It is faster and more convenient to purchase the fishing license in advance online at https://www.adfg.alaska.gov/Store/.

• **Please be sure to “sign” any online license purchase on your device if you do not bring a printed copy of your license. If your license is electronic only, it must be “signed”.

Arriving

• Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to start time.

Arrival By Cruise Ship

• You should have cel service about one hour prior to docking.

• Please call SOUR DOUGH CAB COMPANY at 907.225.5544 to arrange your cab ride to:

• **I recommend departing your ship as soon as you dock to meet your cab.

• The drive from downtown (cruise ship port) is 5-10 minutes. Your cab can take up to six passengers. The cost for the cab is $50 each way and can be paid by credit card or cash

Recommended Captain Tip.

Tips are always appreciated but never required. Industry standard is in the range of 15% of trip total

Final Payment

If there is a remaining balance after booking, your final balance is payable once we finish your trip. Final balance can be paid via cash 👍, VENMO, credit card

What to Bring

• Please bring a photo ID
• Dress with expected weather conditions in mind
• We suggest: sunglasses, sunscreen and a wind breaker
• Make sure you have a printed fishing license or an signed electronic copy on your device.
• You cannot fish without a current fishing license
