About

The Santa Monica donut tour is our first foray into sunny Southern California. Donut culture has a deep history in California and we owe much to some of the early innovators and pioneers when it comes to California donuts. This tour celebrates all things donuts, sunshine, and beachfront fun. Our tour begins at a California institution, Randy’s Donuts. You may know Randy’s from their many appearances across TV, movies, and music videos, specifically for their iconic giant donut. The size of the donut is a little more toned down at this location, but the amazing donuts and flavors are unchanged. After we’ve tried some of their amazing classics, we’ll move on to our next location, Sidecar Doughnuts. If you are looking for amazing, artisanal donuts - you’ve come to the right place. These donuts are absolutely outstanding. Our third location is a slightly unexpected stop, but still quintessentially California for churros. And our last stop may change based on the group or the weather, so we won’t ruin the surprise, but the two options we’ve picked out are both equally fantastic.

Timely Departures

Many of our tours have a tendency to sell out and we have to respect the schedules of our other guests, so we have to begin our tours on time. We will wait until 10 minutes after the hour and then we'll have to begin the tour. If you are going to arrive more than 10 minutes after the start of the tour, please call 844-366-8848 to meet us at our second location.

What to Bring

Please make sure to bring your appetite. There will be plenty of donuts for everyone. This tour is outside, so please dress according to the weather.

Food Allergies

Please let us know if you have any food allergies and we will do our best to accommodate them. We cannot guarantee gluten, vegan, or other options, but we will do our best.

Tour Start and End

Please note that all of our tours do not end where they start, so if you have questions regarding parking, public transportation, etc. please ask your guide or contact us prior to the tour for the best recommendations. All tours are roughly 1.5-2 miles long, so you should plan to wear comfortable shoes and clothing, dependent on the weather. Most tours can be walked end to end in about 30 minutes, so you can always walk back to the beginning, take a cab, public transit or find another means of returning to the starting point fairly easily.
