Join us for a guided tour of the Silver Lake Sand Dunes and enjoy the sunset over Lake Michigan.

About

Join us on a fully guided, slow paced, and family friendly sunset tour of the Silver Lake Sand Dunes.

You will join our trained Dune Guide on a tour of the Silver Lake Sand Dunes ORV Park. You will drive around the park following the dune guide then park your vehicles to enjoy the Sunset over Lake Michigan.

This is a guaranteed hour of Dune time but we will most likely stick around a little longer. Please plan for an added 30 to 60 minutes after your tours end time. **We ask that everyone arrive at the designated arrival time ONE HOUR BEFORE START TIME** to ensure we have adequate time on the dunes.

Arriving late could result in cancellation due to holding up the rest of the group.

Teryx:

• **4 people MAX per vehicle**
• 21 or older to rent and drive with valid drivers license.
• Persons under 21 can be passengers. Persons under 18 years of age require parent/guardian signature to be a passenger.

Booster and front facing car seats allowed in Teryx. (2 years & older)

Automatic, 4WD, 2-way radio, cup holders, and place for a small cooler. (NO ALCOHOL)

Please *arrive 1 HOUR BEFORE START for the Guided Sunset Tour* with Silver Lake Buggy Rentals.

You will receive a separate email with your rental agreement and liability waivers to be signed. Please complete one for every member of your party. If you are over 18 years of age it will ask for your driver's license number, please input this and bring your PHYSICAL DRIVER'S LICENSE with you!

All persons in your party must arrive on time to complete paperwork and receive safety information.* **LATE ARRIVALS ARE SUBJECT TO CANCELLATION

What to bring:

1. A **Valid Driver's License** for those that would like to drive during the tour.

2. **Eye Protection** -- Sunglasses, glasses, or goggles. (we SELL these items in store but you are welcome to supply your own.)

3. *IF APPLICABLE* Your own **Car seats or Booster seats for your children**. *Required by Michigan Law if your child is under 4'9'' or 8 years old.

4. **Sweatshirt or Jackets** just in case it is chilly.

Things to know:

• Early arrival is critical to ensure you get your full time out on the dunes, *late arrivals are subject to cancellation or rescheduling.*

• Once you arrive we will begin paperwork and safety information, this includes signing of your rental contract and liability release for every person in your party. We will also watch a quick safety video as a group before heading out to the dunes.

• *You will be with other persons enjoying the sunset tour in their own vehicles as well*. **We will all be leaving for the ORV Park 30 minutes before the tour start time.**

• *Any persons that would like to drive the vehicle will need to* **bring a valid driver's license.** We will be making copies of driver's licenses.

• **Eye Protection is required** by Department of Natural Resources to enter the park. ***Eye protection is Sunglasses, Glasses, Goggles, Safety glasses, etc.*** **EVERYONE in your party including children must wear eye protection.** We sell those products in store but you are welcome to bring your own from home.

• **Damage Deposit** Before leaving for the tour we will take a **$500 hold per vehicle** via credit or debit card. We can charge the card on file that you used to pay the rental charge or we will need a physical card if using a different method of payment. This hold is released once you return from the tour with no significant damage done to the vehicle.

• **Helmets are provided free of charge with your rental.** They are recommended by the vehicle manufacturer but are **not required** by the Department of Natural Resources since your vehicle is equipped with a roll cage.

• **Bring warmer clothing to layer with.** Even if it is a warm day it can cool off later in the evening and being by Lake Michigan can make the wind a little cooler. **It is better to have layers to put on than not have them at all!** Trust us we have experienced it!
