We are proud to be the only Dog-Friendly E-bike Tour Experience in Carmel-By-The-Sea! We are inviting you and your furry friend to an unforgettable experience on our custom throttle electric bikes and sidecars.

You will cycle from our downtown Carmel-By-The-Sea bike shop to the dog-friendly Carmel Beach to have some fun on the beach with your furry friend! Then you'll ride along the Carmel coastline via Scenic Road. You’ll pass landmarks such as the Tor House, Butterfly House, and the Carmel Mission, one of the most authentically restored Catholic mission churches in California. A few other potential dog-enjoyable pit stops are Carmel River State Beach, grassy Clint Eastwood’s Mission Ranch overlooking a meadow of sheep, and Mission Trail Park.

You will ride our premium throttle e-bikes and your dogs will be in our custom handmade sidecars. These powerful, premium electric bikes will allow us to cover a lot of ground without even breaking a sweat. Based on the weight of your dog(s), we’ll reserve the appropriately-sized side car(s). Please tell us which rider (in height) wants to handle the side car. If you have more than one dog, specify if you think they’d prefer to be together in one sidecar, or if you’d like two sidecars.

If your dog is over 50 lbs the sidecar rider will need to at least be 5'2" and able to manage the bike with a larger dog. The sidecar leans into turns, it leans in and away from the sidecar for agility. This is not a stable non leaning 3-wheel bike. This bike is not recommended for anyone with balance issues.

Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before your tour time. Feel free to visit our gourmet coffee bar located in the upstairs of the building. Enjoy a 10% discount on food and beverage purchases as well as free puppuchinos!!

Please bring your dog(s) wearing its harness for clipping into the sidecar safely.

Optional e-bike insurance ($15 per rider) is available up until your tour time to cover any potentially damaged parts caused by the mishandling of the rider or cleaning fees caused by excessive dirtiness or defecation of the dog. It is highly recommended.

Monetary gestures of gratitude to your tour guide will be greatly appreciated.

We recommend wearing layers, to include a wind/waterproof one, comfortable close-toed shoes and pants not too baggy at the ankles.

Bring a water bottle to fill free here, or we may have bottled water available for purchase. Maybe bring a snack. Bring a bowl and treats for the dog(s) as well.
