Hidden in Plain Sight in Sonoma: Explore Historic Architecture as a Fine Wine Collector from Gourmet Food and Wine Tours.

Before you go

Your Hidden in Plain Sight Tour: Design, History, and Gourmet Delights Await! __🏛️🍷

Thank you for booking the Hidden in Plain Sight Tour with us! We’re thrilled to guide you through the hidden treasures of Sonoma, where you’ll explore incredible design, rich history, and some of the area’s most celebrated local wines.

This private, customized tour is all about offering a personalized experience that reveals the secrets behind the town’s charm—one stop at a time.

What to Expect:

A Custom Experience: This tour is tailored just for you! We’ll explore Sonoma’s stunning architecture, iconic landmarks, and hidden spots that aren’t typically on the tourist path. Along the way, you’ll taste some of the finest local wines and hear the stories that make this town so unique. 🍇🍷

Gourmet Lunch at El Dorado Kitchen:** After our tour through Sonoma’s historic streets, we’ll enjoy a gourmet lunch at the exquisite El Dorado Kitchen. Known for its farm-to-table excellence, you’ll savor fresh, locally sourced ingredients prepared to perfection. It's a culinary experience you won't forget! 🍽️

Design and Architecture: Sonoma is home to some incredible design, blending modern style with its historic roots. You’ll be immersed in its fascinating architecture, with each building telling its own story of the town’s evolution.

What to Wear:

Dress comfortably for a day of exploring! Sonoma’s weather can be a bit unpredictable, so layers are key. And if the forecast is calling for rain (trust me, I’ve been there), you might want to bring an umbrella or light jacket—just in case. If we happen to get a little soggy, I recommend popping by McCaulous (near Whole Foods, just around the corner from where we start). It's a fantastic old-fashioned department store that carries everything you could need for rainy weather and more. 🌧️ (Consider it your secret Sonoma survival spot!)

A Few More Details:

Meeting Location: I’ll be meeting you (unless I have found an amazing architect by the time you book) at [insert starting point], and we’ll start our journey from there.

Tour Duration: We’ll spend a leisurely few hours together, allowing plenty of time for discovery, conversation, and of course, delicious food and wine. This tour is all about quality, not speed, so we’ll move at your pace.

Weather Considerations: As mentioned, Sonoma’s weather can be unpredictable, so dressing in layers and preparing for anything is always a good idea. If rain decides to join us, we'll make sure you still have an amazing experience!

Gratuity & Appreciation:

If you enjoy your time with us (and we’re sure you will!), a 20% tip for your guide is greatly appreciated. It’s a thoughtful way to show your thanks for their dedication in making your day extra special.

Need Anything?

If you have any questions or special requests before your tour, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to ensure everything goes smoothly and that you have the best experience possible!

Thank you again for choosing the Hidden in Plain Sight Tour (HIPS Tour). I’m excited to show you Sonoma’s hidden gems, and I know it’s going to be a truly memorable day.

Safe Travels!

Warmly,
Renée
