This walking tour tells the story of Louisville and Kentucky through its cuisine.

As you explore urban NuLu and historic Butchertown, you’ll taste Kentucky and Appalachian classics like bourbon balls and fried chicken, visit a historic home once occupied by Thomas Edison, taste a curious confection inspired by a Victorian-era actress, trace the footsteps of the immigrants who shaped Louisville, and more.

The tour includes 6 stops for food and drinks, so come hungry and curious!

Where to Meet

You'll meet your tour guide at the foot of the Pepsi Plaza tower in front of the KFC Yum! Center. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early.

Where to Park

Free parking in this area is a rarity, so it's easiest to walk or Lyft if you can. You may be able to find metered street parking. Otherwise, there are plenty of paid parking garages nearby (here is a map of the paid parking garages).
