Before you go
Packing List:
• Lunch
• Snacks & Electrolytes
• Sun Hat
• Sunglasses
• Water Bottle (3L per person, but you can start the hike with just one full)
• Sunscreen
• Bug spray
• Raincoat & Warm Layer
• Headlamp (We will start before sunrise)
For the Half Dome Cables
• Gloves: Any kind of work, gardening or climbing gloves to help you grip the cable.
• Boots or Trail Running Shoes: The cable climb is very steep and slippery. Your shoes must have great traction. No sneakers.
Optional:
• Cash, to tip your guide
We will provide backpacks, trekking poles, water filter, & first aid kit
