Wildlife and Scenic Highlights

As the vessel navigates the rugged shoreline, guests will have the opportunity to witness Bear Glacier, observe thriving sea lion colonies, and visit seabird rookeries. The region is rich in wildlife, with possibilities to encounter whales, sea otters, porpoises, eagles, puffins, and mountain goats along the way.

When weather conditions allow, the adventure continues into Aialik Bay, where visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of Holgate Glacier. This portion of the trip may also offer the chance to see tidewater glacier calving, a dramatic and memorable natural phenomenon.

Fishing Experience

The excursion also features several hours dedicated to fishing. Guided by an experienced Captain, guests will be taken to prime fishing grounds to maximize their chances of catching rockfish, salmon, or Pacific cod. This blend of sightseeing and fishing endures a well-rounded, adventurous outing in the heart of Alaska.
