About Malarky Charters

Our catamaran can accommodate up to 12 guests on board and is perfect for small groups. Explore the San Diego Bay enjoying views of Downtown and Coronado. We specialize in bachelorette/bachelor parties, birthday bashes, family/friend outings, corporate events and much more! Malarky presents a modern aesthetic with a beautiful indoor lounge, large bow with bean bags, 2 bathrooms, aft deck with a table, and state of the art sound system. We thought of everything to make your group outing perfect, so you don’t have to!

Parking Directions:

When you arrive at our address 2700 Shelter Island Drive, San Diego 92106 you will see a large parking lot on the right located in front of the Brigantine restaurant. For free parking, please park in the rear of the parking lot as there are no meters. We do not have assigned parking, so please be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure. Walking Directions:

Once parked cross to the other side of the street on Shelter Island Drive and the path to the docks has yellow markers on the corner. The dock path is located between Intrepid Boat Works and San Diego Marine Exchange. Once on the dock path the boat is located at the first black gate. **Check-in will be directly at the gate.** Please fill out your waivers prior to arrival!

• Your Charter includes a Coast Guard certified captain and crew to assist you on your journey

• State-of-the-art Bluetooth sound system.
• You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. We will provide 2 large coolers filled with ice along with some fridge storage to keep things cold.
• Get ready for great music, fresh air and gorgeous views!

Private Charter Details

• Now that your charter is confirmed an Event Coordinator will reach out to go over food and beverage options and will be sending your proposal and contract. Please make sure to sign your contract upon receiving as this confirms the booking and allows us to start the planning process.
• With a private event you have the option to customize your charter to fit your needs. We have great preferred vendors and water toy add-ons! Your coordinator will be your direct point of contact and is happy to answer any questions and provide additional information regarding your charter.

Please note:

• You must arrive AT LEAST 30 minutes before your charter time. Please have your guests fill out their waivers online, ahead of time.
• If you plan on swimming, please bring a towel.
• No animals are allowed on board.
• Malarky is sanitized before, during, and after every charter.
• No smoking is allowed on board.
• No red wine allowed on board.
• For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times while on board. We kindly ask that all guests be mindful of others, as we reserve the right to remove any individuals, including minors, whose behavior is disruptive or unsafe.
• Please limit the glass being brought on the boat. We understand if you have a bottle of wine or liquor bottle but if you are bringing beers please make sure they are in cans. Glass will need to stay in the indoor lounge and you can not walk around the boat with any glass.
