This small-group adventure takes you beyond Sitka’s harbor to explore the wildlife and coast of Sitka Sound. Along the way, we’ll watch for whales, sea otters, sea lions, puffins, and bears.

Before You Arrive

• If you are traveling on a cruise ship, make sure to reserve your bus tickets to and from the dock. Shuttles leave every 15 minutes, but if you don't reserve you could be left with a very long line. [Reserve your shuttle here] (https://reservation.sitkadock.com/)
• Please arrive **10–15 minutes early** for check-in and boarding.
• **Meeting point:** Northeast side of Centennial Hall, facing Crescent Harbor — 330 Harbor Drive, Sitka, AK 99823. Look for signs saying "Sitka Wonders" and our staff dressed in bright yellow jackets.
• Dress warmly in **layers**, and bring a **waterproof jacket and hat** — Sitka weather changes quickly.

• You’ll travel aboard a **comfortable 6-passenger vessel** with a heated cabin.
• **Snacks and warm drinks** are provided onboard.
• All **safety gear and life jackets** are provided.
• The route varies based on **weather, tide, and wildlife activity** to make the most of the day.

• We’ll return to Crescent Harbor where you can warm up, ask questions, and browse Sitka Wonders merchandise if you’d like a keepsake from your trip.
