Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your departure time. We will provide a safety briefing and any instructions you may need for an enjoyable time on your elopement day. Please be sure your waiver for release of liability has been signed prior to your arrival, this will help expedite your check in process.

Before you arrive:

Necessary clothing and preparedness is essential for your comfort and safety level on your elopement.

Appropriate footwear is a must: closed toed, sturdy shoes with a flat sole. Preferably waterproof xtratufs or hiking shoes with good tread. You are welcome to bring dress shoes along for photos but for safety reasons, your sturdy footwear must be worn while trekking around the elements.

An outer waterproof/ windproof layer is recommended, along with a warm base layer. A hat and gloves as well as sunglasses are also highly advisable. Temperature and conditions change frequently, so it is best to be prepared for all possibilities.

We highly encourage all wedding couples to make their day special! Please feel free to bring a small cake, cupcakes, charcuterie board, snacks, champagne and any other momentums you would like with you. If concerned about the size or weight of objects you would like to bring, please reach out. All items brought along should be included in your estimated weight given.

Although we ask for your approximate body weight (with gear included) prior to your arrival, we will take your actual weight upon check in as part of our safety protocol! We make every attempt to seat you according to your desired spot, but your seat position may be designated in accordance with proper weight and balance in the helicopter.

Our Drone Policy:

We would love for you or your photographer to bring your drone along to capture your special day with us! Alaska is a vast frontier with more pilots in the air than drivers on the ground. For this reason we do require you to have your FAA Part 107 drone license to operate your drone on our elopement! And usage is always at the pilot’s discretion based on air traffic the day of your flight.

Please note that the aircraft we fly have a seat weight limit of 300lbs.This is not a suggested limit, this is the absolute limit The R44, 3 passenger helicopter also has a total combined passenger weight limit of 650lbs. The R66, 4 passenger helicopter has a total combined passenger weight limit of 900lbs. If your party exceeds the total weight limit of the aircraft and needs to be flown in multiple helicopters or larger aircraft to accommodate your party, there is an additional fee based on the length of your elopement.

If this can not be accommodated on the schedule at your departure time, we will do everything we can to reschedule, but a refund may not be given. Please make sure your reported weight is accurate!
