One of the greatest adventures you can have, is one where you choose the pace, the destination, and who you want to spend your time with.
Kachemak Bay State Park and State Wilderness Park offer a variety of trails for all levels of expertise.
49North will get you there and make sure you have everything you need to make this adventure one you’ll never forget!
We will take you on a boat and drop you off at your hiking destination! Don't forget to book a return trip or call and let us book one for you.
At arrival we will provide maps and different locations that will match the experience you are looking for.
Our highly skilled Captains will give you a run down on the lands and what you will find and how to get around
We will drop you off and pick you up at the destination you and the Captain decide on at the beginning of your trip!

- Wear sunscreen
- Bring warm clothing as the weather can vary on the water
- Please be bear aware (make noise, keep smelly food under wraps)

When you get to the Homer Spit, find the Harbor Grill.
There is a dirt parking lot to the left of the grill that offers free parking.
Give yourself at least 15 minutes to find a spot.
Once you have parked, you will go to Ramp 3 with the blue roof behind the
Harbor Grill, located at 4262 Homer Spit Rd, Homer, AK 99603
Go down the ramp and take a left onto the docks.
We are on dock J
our slips are the first slips on the right and left, J1 and J34.
They will be there at the top of the hour.
arrive 10 minutes early, and call us if you have any concerns or get lost.

An important note if you are on one of our self-guided hiking trips:
Our boats are strictly limited to 6 passengers by U.S. Coast Guard law. Because we are often fully booked, your seat is only guaranteed for your scheduled departure time and your scheduled return time.
If you miss your boat: You will be placed on standby for the next available trip.
The Reality: If all following boats have 6 passengers, we cannot legally board you. You may have to wait several hours for an available seat. Please plan on arriving at the return pickup destination 15 minutes early.
