Full Tour Description

Explore Capitol Hill, the epicenter of activity in Washington DC, on a 2.5-hour semi-private guided walking tour, welcoming up to 12 travelers. Our knowledgeable local guide will show you the buildings and institution that have made DC such an important part of the United States.

Visit some of the most important places in the US capital, including the stunning exteriors of the Supreme Court, the Library of Congress, and the Capitol. Go inside the Thomas Jefferson library and check out a real Gutenberg Bible. Learn about the judicial system at the Museum of the Supreme Court, and maybe get a peek inside the actual courtroom. There is a possibility to get tickets for a tour of the Capitol’s interior, where politicians and legislatures work tirelessly for the American people.

IMPORTANT Before you go:

• Please arrive at the **designated meeting point 10 minutes prior** to your tour start time. Please note : All **latecomers risk missing the tour**.
• We ask that all guests **bring identification** (with age indicated).
• Please do not bring any oversized bags, or personal items larger than a small backpack
• This tour runs everyday rains or shine, please dress accordingly
• The U.S. Supreme Court is a public institution and may close without prior notice.

IMPORTANT:

This walking tour includes entry and a guided visit inside the Library of Congress. It also includes access to the Supreme Court when it is open to the public. The tour will end at the Capitol Building, where your guide will provide you with entry passes to view the House and Senate chambers on your own. This DOES NOT INCLUDE a guided tour inside the U.S. Capitol building.
