Requirements

• **Meet at our Big Bend Stables 30 minutes before your ride to get checked in! Please be on time as the setting sun waits for no one!**
• **2 Liters of water in handheld bottles per rider**
• **Minimum Age: 6 Years Old.**

-*6 year olds will ride a donkey and be led by a wrangler

• **Maximum Weight: 270 lbs**
• **Horse riding is an athletic activity and you must be able to mount up & balance yourself in the saddle**

About

• *All of our rides are nose to tail at a walk*
• Ride includes elevation changes, some sloping terrain
• Mount up and head into the painted Big Bend desert created by the setting sun.
• We ride horses, donkeys and mules!
• *Your wranglers work for tips, so if you like your ride, kiss your horse and be sure to tip your guide!*

• **Big Bend Stables** is on Central Time, make sure you are too!

WHAT TO WEAR:

• Long pants & closed-toe shoes are a requirement to ride. Jeans are best. Please avoid bulky shoes/hiking boots as they typically do not fit appropriately into the stirrups.
• Dress smart for sun protection, weather, and the pokey flora and fauna! Lightweight longsleeve shirts & hats are recommended
• *NO: shorts or leggings*

WHAT TO BRING:

• **WATER**!!! Each rider must bring **2** liters of still water in handheld bottles for this DESERT ride. No water = no ride.
• *NO*: *gallon jugs or backpacks, we provide a saddlebag*
• Gratuity is not included in the cost of your ride. Your wranglers work extra hard to provide a great experience for you and yours, so gratuity is very much appreciated!
