About

  • **A great choice for riders who have more experience in the saddle and/or have a big sense of adventure!!**
  • Ride climbs up to around 500 feet above the stables on rugged & technical trails. These trails are more physically demanding of the rider, considered adventurous & scenic. Parts of the trail ride along the edge of cliffs.
  • Not for folks with a fear of heights or who are nervous about riding.
  • Climb to the top of Contrabando Mesa in Big Bend Ranch State Park for stunning views over the Rio Grande, then drop down to 'Lunchbox Canyon' for a shady spot for lunch...you'll love the lunch we pull out of the saddlebags!!
  • We ride horses AND mules!!
  • **Your wranglers work for tips, so if you like your ride, kiss your horse and be sure to tip your guide!**
