Our original Little Havana Food & Cultural Tour explores the rich history and culinary delights of a vibrant neighborhood. Little Havana was recently listed as an official “national treasure” of the United States by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The neighborhood is well-known for its many historical, political, culinary, and artistic contributions to our Miami culture. Nestled in the heart of the city’s downtown area and only a short drive from Miami’s famed South Beach, the neighborhood is full of interesting cultural landmarks and delicious cuisine.

The Experience Highlights:

• Our small groups allow for a richer experience with exclusive insider access.
• Enjoy delicious food & eat the local way at family-run eateries including a stop at a traditional bakery, an open-air market, a churreria, and many more.
• Explore an authentic cigar factory and learn the art of cigar rolling.
• See the work of artists that inspire our community including a visit to the Damas De Blanco mural.
• Visit Domino Park, The Cuban Memorial Blvd, The Tower Theater, and learn the history behind them.

Tower Theatre, 1508 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33135. The tour ends a few blocks away.

YOUR TOUR GUIDE WILL CALL OR TEXT:

Approximately 1-2 hours before your tour begins, your guide will reach out via call or text to the phone number provided in your reservation. They'll be in touch to welcome you, confirm any dietary restrictions, and assist you if you happen to be running late.

TIPPING YOUR TOUR GUIDE:** As is common practice in the tour industry, showing your appreciation to your tour guide through a tip is greatly appreciated, similar to tipping at a restaurant. A customary tip falls within the range of 18%-20% of your ticket cost. So, if you had a wonderful time on the tour, please consider acknowledging your guide's service. For your convenience, guides accept cash, cash app and Venmo. Please note that gratuities for restaurant staff are already included in your ticket price.

FOOD RESTRICTIONS:** We happily offer vegetarian options and we can also accommodate to those who do not eat pork, beef, chicken, or fish/shellfish. However, we are unable to provide gluten-free meals for those with celiac disease due to cross contamination, vegan options due to limited substitutions, or cater for individuals with severe food allergies.

PARKING:

Free parking is available behind Maximo Gomez Domino Park on SW 8th Street and 15th Ave. To access it, head toward Domino Park on the right side of SW 7th Ave, turn at McDonald’s, go past their driveway, and then make an immediate right to enter the lot.

If the parking lot is full, additional metered parking can be found along SW 8th Street and on nearby residential streets.

Please Note: During the months of November through May, we recommend using a rideshare service or arriving with ample time, as parking can be limited during peak season.

WEATHER:

We tour rain or shine, please bring an umbrella or poncho if it is announced to rain. Wear comfortable shoes. Tour ends one block away from the meeting point.
