You don't have to be a professional photographer, hiker, or model to enjoy this hike, today's cell phones take the best shots! Hike, climb, and explore giant boulders on top of this 360-degree view of Lake Tahoe during its golden hour. Your creative guide will take photos of you along the way. Bring your camera or cell phone and take your photos of the endless sunset views illuminating the sky.

This trek will provide breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe that you will not find on your own. This tour is uniquely designed for families, couples, romantic getaways, hikers, photographers, and group outings. We will do our best to accommodate requests for an easy, moderate, or challenging hike. Enjoy our small personalized group sizes while never feeling any pressure to keep up.

Bring

• Water

• **Hiking or tennis shoes with traction/tread on the soles. Please don't wear flat soles or tennis shoes with no tread on the bottom. Even if you are an experienced hiker, we don't recommend smooth soles.

• Comfortable hiking attire

• Cell phone/camera. You don't have to bring a big fancy camera, today's cell phones take the best shots!

• No dogs. If you wish to bring your dog book a private sunset hike.

Location

All of our hiking tours operate in the area of South Lake Tahoe. We often wait until a few days-24 hours before each tour in order to provide every guest with the best possible experience. We take weather, ability levels, and other factors into consideration before every tour.

Meet your guide at the trailhead where we will start and finish at the same place. Locations vary depending on weather and current conditions. All of our locations are within 10-20 minutes of anywhere in South Lake Tahoe. All locations are within 20 minutes from Stateline/Casino/Heavenly Village Area. All locations are easily accessed through taxis or services such as Uber or Lyft.

Gear Up for Greatness!

MUST-HAVE: Proper Footwear

• Rock those hiking boots or shoes! Comfortable hiking shoes/boots with grippy soles are the way to go. Athletic shoes with good tread work too.

No-nos:

• Flat or smooth-soled shoes (like sneakers or flip-flops) are a slippery slope—literally! Leave ‘em at home to keep your adventure safe and fun.
• Boots with heels
• Ugg boots, slippers, ballet shoes, platforms are not advised.

Dress for the Trail

• Throw on comfy, weather-appropriate hiking gear. Think breathable layers, moisture-wicking fabrics, and maybe a hat for sun protection. You’ll want to move freely while soaking in those epic Tahoe views!

Water- staying hydrated is key

Snacks- Forest service regulations prohibit us from serving packaged food and plastic water bottles. You are welcome to bring your water bottle (any kind) and snacks.

Location, Location, Location!

We’ll pick the perfect trail based on your group’s skill level, the day’s weather, and trail conditions. Our team checks these daily to ensure you get the ultimate hiking experience. Stay tuned for your exact departure details! We usually contact you right before your tour date so that the weather and conditions information is the most accurate. If you do not hear from us by the evening before your tour, please reach out to us.
