All Ages are welcome, children under 2 years won't be allowed inside the dog yard, but can visit a couple of dogs on leashes.

About

Come join us at our homestead and kennel for a true Alaskan experience!

You'll get to visit our 20 traditional Alaskan Huskies in the dog yard. If that sounds a little too rambunctious for you, then we have the option to relax with a couple of older dogs in our Arctic Oven Tent.

You may be able to help get a meal prepared for the dogs, or see how we spin dog hair into yarn to make clothing. You'll discover how people in the Arctic thrive, even in winter, living out of a wood stove heated tent.

This visit will always come with stories from us about living in Alaska with good dogs!

Facts

Our dogs are well behaved but can be boisterous, slobbery, and of course HAIRY! Please wear appropriate clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, and closed-toe shoes. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Gratuity Etiquette

Leaving a tip is not required.

Gratuity is NOT included in the cost of the tour.

However, if you enjoyed yourselves while adventuring with us, please consider tipping your Guide/s. Any amount is appreciated and lets our Crew know how much you valued your experience.

The Dogs also appreciate this gesture!

Before you go

For our Kennel Experience Tour, PLEASE wear appropriate footwear!

Closed Toe shoes including rain boots, lace up hiking boots, or winter snow boots all work.

Please do NOT wear sandals or any open toed or mesh shoes.

Your feet will get stepped on by the dogs, and inevitably, dog poop happens.

We do our very best to keep the dogs and dog yard free of poop, but Dogs are Dogs.

Expect mud, poop, and snow at any given time.
