Eklutna ATV Adventure

Alaska begins just outside of Anchorage at Eklutna! Located just a short drive from the city is an atv tour that is a must do for anyone visiting Alaska. This atv adventure travels alongside the glacier blue waters of Eklutna Lake and is surrounded by towering mountains and waterfalls that winds its way to the back of the canyon ending at Eklutna Glacier. It's stunning scenery, fun terrain and plenty of water to splash through!

This trip is great for beginners and experienced drivers. It features incredible sceney, photo ops, wildlife and waterfalls! Bring the family!

Below is some of the what, when, and where information for your tour.

SNACKS: Snacks are included on this trip! Please let us know if you have any dietary issues before we head out though. At the end of your trip, we recommend you stop by the Twin Peaks Treats for a waffle cone ice cream. We always do.

We will meet you at the ATV parking lot at 39375 Eklutna Lake Rd. Chugiak, AK 99567 It's the first parking lot that you will come to. If you don't have rain gear, don't worry. We have gear to keep you dry on the trail. Rain boots, pants, and jackets are included.

This tour works with you to build your skills and make you feel more comfortable on the ATV as we progress. Our trail is both scenic and has incremental challenges depending on the group's ability and comfort level. We strive to include what each guest needs to have a great time with us. Each driver is responsible for any damage that is caused to their machine whether accidental or intentional.

WHERE TO GO:

From Anchorage -

Head NORTH on the Glenn Highway.

Take the Eklutna Exit at mile 26.5.

Follow the road roughly 9.1 miles to the ATV Parking area.

Our guides will be there with our machines awaiting your arrival.

WHEN TO ARRIVE: We want to honor the time our guests spend on the trail. Arriving too early or late for your tour time potentially short changes the experience of our other guests. We strive to provide a personalized custom tour experience; we like to keep our tour sizes small, yet we may have multiple groups participating in a tour. With this in mind, please follow the below guidelines:

• Please plan for driving conditions and allow for plenty of travel time to arrive on time for your tour.
• Please plan to arrive 20-30 minutes before the scheduled start time of your tour. Travel times in Alaska can sometimes be difficult to gauge. Our guides may be arriving at just about the same time, so please don't be concerned if you arrive and you don't immediately see our Snowhook Staff. Upon arrival, our guides will make sure our vehicles are ready for your tour and then get you all checked in and ready to go at our tour start time.
• Tours will not be held for guests who arrive late.
• Refunds will not be provided for late arrivals or for no shows.

WHAT TO BRING: Don’t forget your camera, hat, neck gaiter and a smile. Worried you don’t have the right gear for the conditions? No problem. SAGA has plenty of gear to keep you comfortable on your tour.

WHAT ELSE?: Our staff is scheduled based on the number of guests booked for specific tour time. If you have additional guests in your party who would like to join the tour after you made your reservations, please call us before your tour time rather than try to add them when you arrive for your tour. We will do our best to accommodate the additional guest, but there is no guarantee that space is available to add them.
