What to Expect

Your Guided Farm Tour is a relaxed, shared experience led by one of our friendly and knowledgeable team members.

You’ll enjoy a comfortable ride through the farm as your guide shares the story behind Lavender Hill Farm, along with insight into how we grow, harvest, and distill our lavender.

This experience is designed to be approachable, engaging, and enjoyable for all ages, with plenty to see and learn along the way.

Please note: This is a shared group experience. Guests are seated based on check-in order and may be joined by others during the tour.

___

Weather

Tours run rain or shine.

Tours may pause during severe weather such as lightning or unsafe conditions.

Tours do not depart when heavy rain is combined with temperatures below 45 degrees.

Northern Michigan weather can change quickly, so we recommend dressing for the conditions.

---

Cart Safety

Our tours travel over uneven and sometimes bumpy terrain.

All guests must remain seated and hold on securely at all times while the cart is in motion.

Children and any guests needing assistance must be securely supported by a supervising adult at all times.

---

PARKING

Please park in the Drying Shed Parking Lot. Additional handicap parking and guest drop-off are available in the Horseshoe Driveway loop.
