Equipment List

**Please remember to bring the following items on your paddling trip with us:**

- Non-cotton warm clothing

Fleece, wool, or synthetic layers work well for both pants and jackets. Bring extras in case you get wet!

- Rain Gear

Both jacket and pants. We have loaner splash gear available if needed.

- Rain/Rubber Boots

We have loaner rubber boots available as needed - feel free to bring your own if you have them!

- Sun hat, beanie, and light gloves

- Sunglasses and sunscreen

- Water bottle

- Snacks

We do not provide snacks for this trip unless you have ordered a Snack Pack as part of your trip with us, please come prepared.

- Camera/phone

- Backpack or Drybag to store it all!

We have drybags available to loan. These are waterproof bags that will store all your extra layers and snacks while you're on the water.

This activity involves paddling an inflatable packraft on a glacial lake. There are no rapids, but there is a chance that I could swim if my boat tips. I'll likely get wet at some point on this excursion, and we will go out rain or shine.

Tipping your Guide

Tipping makes up a large portion of a guide's income, allows them to pursue guiding as a sustainable career, and is extremely appreciated!

If you didn't leave a prepaid gratuity for your guide, that's ok - you can tip your guide by cash or credit card on the day of your trip with us.

A normal tip range is 10-20% of your trip total, but if you feel your guide went above and beyond, then the sky's the limit!

Additional Information

Our trips go out rain or shine! In the rare event that we have to cancel a trip due to dangerous conditions, you will be notified and receive a full refund.

You may want to print this confirmation for your reference, as cell phone reception can be spotty in the McCarthy area, and only Verizon cell service reliably works.
