- Sunglasses and sunscreen

- Hiking boots** or other sturdy walking shoes

- Water bottle

- Snacks

We do not provide snacks for this trip, unless you have purchased Snack Packs as part of your trip.

Please make sure it is big enough to carry your extra layers, snacks, water, and the helmet and headlamp we will lend you. Helmets can also be strapped to the outside of your pack. You are welcome to bring your own headlamp if you have one.

**Recommended:**

Activity Disclaimer

I have acknowledged that:

This is a strenuous hike that goes off-trail over **extremely** steep loose rock. I understand that even experienced hikers find this trip difficult. I may need to cross creeks and I will enter small dark spaces with dripping water and falling rocks. I will likely get wet and dirty on this trip. This is not recommended for those who experience claustrophobia, are unstable on their feet, or are afraid of heights. I understand that I will not be issued a refund if my group is physically unable to make it to the caves.

Tipping your Guide

Tipping makes up a large portion of a guide's income, allows them to pursue guiding as a sustainable career, and is extremely appreciated!

If you didn't leave a prepaid gratuity for your guide, that's ok - you can tip your guide by cash or credit card on the day of your trip with us.

A normal tip range is 10-20% of your trip total, but if you feel your guide went above and beyond, then the sky's the limit!

Additional Information

Our trips go out rain or shine! In the rare event that we have to cancel a trip due to dangerous conditions, you will be notified and receive a full refund.

You may want to print this confirmation for your reference, as cell phone reception can be spotty in the McCarthy area, and only Verizon cell service reliably works.
